With over 20 years of experience in the environmental and transportation industries, Caryn leads the Blackwater team. Caryn has extensive experience in NEPA and Section 4(f) compliance and documentation, environmental and transportation policy implementation, process streamlining, technical writing, agency coordination and consultation, public involvement, and environmental impact analysis.
Having previously worked for the Maryland State Highway Administration and the Federal Highway Administration prior to starting Blackwater in 2009, Caryn brings a unique perspective to the table. She has participated on national transportation/environmental policy teams and has been involved in implementing aspects of federal transportation bills.
Caryn is currently leading the environmental effort for one of the largest P3 transportation projects in North America.
