Looking for a flexible, friendly, and fun work culture? Join our small but growing woman-owned environmental and planning firm as our Billing and Financial Support Specialist! Blackwater is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Billing and Financial Support Specialist to support our invoicing, payroll, and account tracking efforts. Previous experience in billing or accounting services is preferred. Both part-time and full-time availability will be considered. This position is hybrid upon completion of a 90 day, in-office training period.   ​

Basic Roles:

Lead monthly client billing and company payroll/expense efforts to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Manage company account tracking including accounts receivables, aging reports, billability, operating expenses, and revenue tracking.

Assist COO with contract management and budget tracking.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements & Essential Skills
-
At least one year of practical, work-related billing, invoicing, or accounting experience.

Associates degree, with bachelor's degree preferred.

Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
-
Ability to work independently; must be proficient in multitasking.

Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment.

Demonstrated proficiency in math and accounting.
-
Proficiency in MS Office 365 required including Excel, Word, and SharePoint.

Experience in government contracting in the A/E industry preferred.
