Our Story
Caryn J.G. Brookman founded Blackwater in 2009, with the purpose of providing environmental and planning services in the transportation sector that were not just acceptable but exceptional. The business moniker pays homage to her hometown of Cambridge, Maryland, home to the magnificent Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. Over the past decade, Caryn has built a team of innovative, knowledgeable, and experienced professionals who strive to exceed the standard.
